On the 27th May 2026, Ayten Gasson celebrates its 21st birthday.
Twenty-one years ago, I launched the label with a passion for creating beautiful lingerie using sustainable fabrics, ethical manufacturing and timeless design. What started as a small independent brand has grown into something incredibly special, and I honestly could not have done it without the support of our wonderful customers.
The last year has been one of the busiest and most transformative yet. Since the beginning of last year, we have moved studios four times — although I am very happy to say that this latest move is definitely the last because the new space feels absolutely perfect for us.
Alongside the studio moves, we hosted a month-long pop-up shop on Dukes Lane, took part in lots of wonderful day-long designer pop-ups and continued making every piece in small batches here in Brighton.
Reaching 21 years feels like such a milestone for an independent business, especially one built around slow fashion and craftsmanship. Every order, message, visit to a pop-up and recommendation has helped keep this business going for more than two decades, and I am incredibly grateful.
