We recently had the amazing privilege to help a wonderful charity helping some of the most vulnerable children in some very desperate circumstances.
Clowns Without Borders are an inspiring organisation that are using laughter as a tool for recovery and as a way to provide emotional release and respite from the challenges of daily life. With so many children living in areas affected by conflict, war or disaster, Clowns Without Borders are doing their bit to alleviate their plight and – at a very basic level – just allow children to be children.
Jugglers, acrobats, musicians and clowns have been performing in refugee camps, encouraging the children to get involved and - temporarily at least - forget their daily struggles.
We are so inspired by the group’s incredible work and wanted to help somehow so we donated some of our products to be raffled to raise funds to further help the organisation and the lives of the children they meet.
Thankfully there are many other such groups doing what they can to help some of the most vulnerable people caught up in some terrible predicaments. We are in awe of all of them but if you want to learn more about what Clowns Without Borders do – and maybe take the time to donate to their cause – then please visit their website at http://clownswithoutborders.org.uk
