We have had a shop in Brighton now for six years, moving to the heart of the Brighton Lanes at the end of last year - and before having a shop, we were operating as an online only retailer. We have absolutely loved having a store in Brighton - being able to meet our customers face to face and connecting with other local, independent businesses. In the last few months we closed our doors to the public in the week to offer a more personal, bespoke service.
But, as much as we have enjoyed serving our customers instore, the time it takes to carry out bespoke orders and create enough stock to keep the shop full has taken us away from what we really love doing - which is designing and developing our product ranges.
So, due to a rise in online demand, we will be moving to a design studio in March where we can take time to concentrate on designing new products and developing our core ranges, with a focus on offering more nightwear pieces. We will also have the time to engage with you more on social media, where we will be showing behind the scenes clips and telling you more about our design process. We also plan to host pop-up store events in Brighton and London in 2022 – so do look out for our announcements!
We will miss operating as a shop and meeting our lovely customers every day. But we are so excited to work on expanding the business online and developing our core ranges to offer you more products. We will be posting more details about the move nearer the time and look forward to showing you our new home!
If you would like to visit the shop before we move, we will be open from Tuesday 4th January until the end of February. So you still have plenty of time to shop for Valentine’s Day gifts!
