I have always prided myself on offering the best customer service to everyone who steps into my boutique, as well as those who order online. The past ten weeks have been strange but I hope all my customers – old and new – have enjoyed shopping with us and love their new purchases.
June 15th is the day non essential shops such as mine can open their doors again. Unfortunately, it is proving problematic in how I am able to provide the same service with the guidelines I know have to be followed to keep myself and my customers safe. Everyone who has visited the boutique in the past knows how much fun it can be to have a fitting, picking a style and choosing your fabric and laces. But I feel this service cannot be offered to its full potential if fitting room are to remain closed and the two metre distancing rule is to be implemented. I firmly believe these rules have to be followed and I am working on ways to do this safely. So I wanted to update you on my plans for the boutique. But, as always, if you have any suggestions or questions please do let me know.
From June 15th until the foreseeable future I will be opening by appointment only. This will allow me the time to clean the boutique before and after each appointment. Hand sanitiser will be provided and I will request anyone coming into our small space wears a face covering. I will also be limiting all appointments to one person at a time. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can discuss your options on an individual basis. Social distancing will make fittings impossible so I will not be offering a bespoke service to new customers, although this service is still available to existing customers whose details are on file. Other safety measures I will be implementing are:
▪️ Card only sales – cash will no longer be accepted in store
▪️ Frequent cleaning
▪️ Removing all testers for our cosmetics and beauty products
▪️ Any items returned will be kept away from the shop floor for 72 hours
I hope you can all understand why I feel these steps are necessary given the current circumstances.
