We often get asked if we offer cruelty free alternatives to silk which aren’t polyester based or damaging to the environment. Although we have offered Peace Silk ranges in the past, we can understand why people may be hesitant to wear fabric which has been made with an animal by-product.
After attending The London Textile Fair last week, we feel we may have found some responsibly sourced, vegan solutions which are made out of plants. We have had such a lovely day researching everything from recycled labels and packaging to vegan silk alternatives and organic silk satins. We are even looking into ethical printing on silk based fabrics and more eco-friendly fibres!
We can’t wait to launch some new, sustainable fabrics in our Autumn/Winter collection later in the year!
