How We Are Handling The Royal Mail Strikes

You may have heard recently that Royal Mail have been striking, with more strike days planned on Wednesday the 14th and Thursday the 15th of December.

Whilst this is not an ideal situation to be in over the festive period, we wanted to give our customers some peace of mind and run you through what we are doing to work around these strikes.

  • We are aiming to dispatch orders within 48 hours. Our usual dispatch lead time is within 4 working days, however we are trying to get orders out as quickly as possible to help counteract any potential delays with delivery.
  • If an order is ready to be shipped close to a strike day, we are upgrading the postage to Special Delivery free of charge, as this service is being prioritised by Royal Mail throughout the strikes.
  • If an order is ready to be shipped on a strike day, we are upgrading the postage service to either DHL or DPD. These services should be running as normal and upgrading orders this way will help to ensure that your orders reach you in time for Christmas.
  • As soon as we dispatch your order, you will be provided will the full tracking details for your delivery. This means that you will be able to track your order at every stage of the delivery process. We are also on hand to assist you with locating any delayed packages.

Finally, we would like to remind you that our final UK order date is Tuesday 20th December. Please place your orders by 3pm on this date to help us ensure your order reaches you in time for Christmas.
