The successful label, currently in it third year, was founded with the help from The Princes’ Trust organisation. The Princes’ Trust was established by the Prince of Wales in 1976 to help young people over come barriers and help set up their own businesses. Ayten Gasson launched the label while working from the living room of her Brighton flat. The first collection was successful sold thought boutiques in both London and on the south coast.

The range of luxury hand made pieces include vintage style all in one silk teddies, 100% silk chiffon knickers, bias cut camisoles, and soft yet supportive bralets. The silk satins, chiffons and finist of Japanese silks are extremely feminine, while the delicate French lace and ribbons add classic detail to each piece. To maintain a high level of quality, and in grand old tradition, each piece is hand made in order to obtain a perfect, comfortable, and elegant finish. Shapes and styles are sourced from vintage lingerie patterns to create individual yet exquisite pieces.

Ayten Gasson was chosen out of 300 graduates for the ‘Fashion in Motion’ show at the V&A in September 2002. The catwalk show featured 15 of the ‘crème de la crème of one of the world’s leading fashion schools’. The young designer has also collaborated with raunchy label Tabooboo for Selfridges, London to celebrate the one hundredth birthday of Las Vegas. The two labels created a stunning range of handmade limited edition pieces, combining the playfulness of the classic 50’s pin up, with the simple easy fit of our favourite pants. Each piece was hand printed by Ayten Gasson.

Since relocating back to London, 'Ayten Gasson' has expanded and outlets now include stockists in America, Japan, Europe and serveral Boutiques in London.
